I've offered Beauty Therapy services under the Pretty Kitty brand for a number of years, both in a public salon and privately in my own home. When Covid-19 struck and we entered lockdown in March 2020, I was self-employed and immediately felt the impact. I was no longer able to offer services due to the close contact. I soon re-opened in the safest way possible, with social distancing and extra hygiene precautions in place, but by then I had discovered my entrepreneurial side...
First came KB's Knits and Knots, with knitted and crochet products new to the market. Then came the washable hand-made face masks to help to get everybody out of their homes. And then I discovered a flair for design and personalisation, which has opened up so many possibilities that I now offer all of my products under the KBs CraftyCreations brand. It's safe to say I never saw myself running two businesses side by side, but I love it!
